There’s that old joke about the pedestrian in New York asking the violinist on the street, ‘How do you get to Carnegie Hall?’ with the immediate reply being… ‘Practice!’

We asked a similar thing this week. How do you get to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

By going to Cleveland.

If you ever make it there, you’ll be blown away not just by the artifacts, but also the stylistic design of the displays and the consideration to making a cohesive telling of the history of rock. It was on the radio in Cleveland in the 1950s when the term Rock and Roll was coined and popularized in reference to the Rhythm and Blues albums being played.

The evolution of rock is the story that is still unfolding and it was awesome to see the artifacts of the time period where country music helped lead the charge as to what rock has become today.RockHallHank
